Re-Opening of Primary School at Safe and Sound Academy

Dear Parents,

It’s with great pleasure that we will welcome back our dear students of Primary (Grade 1 up to Grade 6) on staggered days as follows:-

Kindly note that, our school hours remain the same from 8.30a.m to 15.00p.m. The pre-school services will be from 7.30 to 8.15 & after-school services from 15.15p.m to 18.30p.m.

Important Notes:

Sanitary Conditions:

i) We are pleased to declare that all our personnel from top management to cleaning and maintenance have been vaccinated. The whole school has been deeply cleaned and disinfected by Valtech Pest Control services Ltd and Alpha Cleaning Group.

ii) Deep cleaning and disinfection of school buildings and classrooms, such as railings, tables, chairs, sports equipment, door and window handles, teaching and learning aids etc (furniture, whiteboards) have been done and will be carried out on a regular basis.

iii) Deep cleaning of our water tanks, school compound and yard.

iv) Availability of covered bins.

v) Windows and doors will be kept opened for cross ventilation,

Prevention and Protection:

i) Wearing of mask is compulsory except for P.E Classes.

ii) Children who are asthmatic or have any other respiratory issues should produce a medical certificate to the school so that they could get release of the mask.

iii) Students with signs and symptoms of fever, gastro-enteritis, flu or cold will NOT be admitted in the school, this will be monitored by our staff each morning.

iv) If a child is identified with a high temperature during the day, he/she will be immediately isolated and parents will be informed to collect the child immediately for a medical checkup.

v) Please bear with us in this process of welcoming back your ward in a safe environment and we rely on your cooperative attitude and your sense of responsibility.

For the safety of all students, staff, parents and stakeholders, the following protocol should be strictly

respected:

i) Welcoming points of drop & pick up time have been established in front the gate.

Parents will not be allowed to get access to school premises except for official matter.

No vaccination card / No access to school premises.

ii) Checking of Body Temperature at school entry.

iii) All children are to undergo hand sanitization at the staggered point.

iv) Hand sanitizers & hand wash will be provided and kept handy for use as often as needed in strategic areas throughout the school premises.

v) Teachers will ensure that children wash their hands regularly with water and soap/hand wash.

vi) We encourage children to bring their own hand towel for wiping of hands.

vii) All morning assemblies, events and other activities have been cancelled for the time-being.

viii) Canteens would operate but under strict sanitary conditions – food handlers certificate; proper and safe food storage and packing practices.

ix) Physical Education classes will be conducted exclusively outdoors, however group sports will not be allowed, and all activities will be in compliance with social distancing.

x) Breaks/Recess will be organised in a staggered manner.

x) Meeting with management will be held on Meet only for the time being.
